Rob received the 2000 Olivier Award for Best Set Designer for Troilus And Cressida, Vassa and Richard III. He was nominated for Best Costume Design in the same year for Troilus And Cressida and Money and for Best Set Designer in 1995 for The Glass Menagerie, for Chips With Everything in 1997 and for The Caretaker in 2001. Our House won the 2003 Olivier Award for Best Musical. In 2006 Rob received an Olivier Award for Best Set Design for Hedda Gabler as well as being nominated for Best Costume Design for the same production. For The Lord Of The Rings in London and Toronto Rob received an Olivier Award for both Set and Costume Design and a Dora Mavor Award for Outstanding Costume Design as well as a nomination for Outstanding Set Design. Rob has been nominated for a 2008 Tony Award for Best Costume Design for Boeing Boeing.
