Jayne Wisener

Jayne Wisener is best known for her portrayal of ‘Johanna’ in Tim Burton’s critically-acclaimed, Oscar-winning 2007 film Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street in which she starred opposite Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen.

Her most recent film work includes ‘Jay’ in Life Just Is, ‘Bessie’ in Jane Eyre, ‘Amy’ in Boogeyman III and ‘Orla’ in A Kiss For Jed Wood.

Jayne has also appeared in numerous television productions, including Vexed, The Inbetweeners, Casualty, Minder and the upcoming Injustice.

In the theatre, Jayne played the role of ‘Mary Phagan’ in the UK premiere of Olivier-nominated musical Parade for the Donmar Warehouse. Other theatre roles include the lead role of ‘Mary’ in The Secret Garden (West Yorkshire Playhouse) and West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Oklahoma! and Jesus Christ Superstar (all for Music Theatre 4 Youth).

Jayne can also be seen playing both a young girl and her evil doppelganger in the band Archive’s 2009 music video for their single Bullets.
