Colin Ryan

Colin trained at ArtsEd School of Acting.

Stage roles at drama school include Caiaphas the Elder and Simon the Zealot in The Last Days Of Judas Iscariot, Weinberl in On The Razzle and Ariel in The Tempest. As arranger for five-part harmony group Johnny 5, Colin sang at theatreMAD’s West End Christmas 2008 at the Actors’ Church in Covent Garden and at this year’s Sonnet Walk, commemorating Shakespeare’s birthday, for the Globe Theatre under the direction of Mark Rylance. On graduation this year, Colin commenced filming on a CGI children’s sci-fi comedy show for BBC1 called Hounded. Starring comedian Rufus Hound, he plays a kids TV presenter who appears in different universes under various alien guises. It should be on our screens in May 2010.

Originally from Birmingham, Colin is delighted to be making his professional stage debut in A Christmas Carol.
