Charmian Hoare
Trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. She has worked extrensively in theatre and film as a voice and dialect coach for the last 25 years. She has worked for many years at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is now a professor at Penn State university, USA, teaching there every autumn.
Recent theatre work includes: The Merchant Of Venice, The Taming Of The Shrew and The Winter’s Tale (RSC); Jerusalem (Royal Court Theatre); Taking Sides, The Music Man and Separate Tables (Chichester Festival Theatre); Keswick, The Maid Of Buttermere, The Memory Of Water, Summer Lightning and A Chorus Of Disapproval (Theatre by the Lake); Everyone Loves A Winner (Manchester Royal Exchange); and The Mountaintop (Trafalgar Studios, London).
Film Credits include: Othello, An Ideal Husband and The Butcher Boy.
