Carl Au

Carl trained at Arts Educational School of Musical Theatre where roles included: Guido in Nine, Tonton Julian in Once On This Island, Charley in Putting It Together and Sir Joseph Porter in HMS Pinafore.

His most recent credits include: contemporary dancer in Dance:Radio (York Theatre Royal, and the Roundhouse Theatre); dancer for the Pet Shop Boys at the Brit Awards; Galahad in Sleeping Beauty (Oxford Playhouse); and Swing in Disney’s High School Musical (Hammersmith Apollo Theatre). Other credits include: solo vocalist in Barabara Cook And Friends (the London coliseum); Good thing Going (Cadogan Hall); dance captain in Robin Hood And The Babes In The Wood (the Pavillion Theatre, Bournemouth); and Young Arthur Pendragon in Pendragon (touring the UK and Japan). Carl was the winner of the inaugural Stephen Sondheim Prize for the Student Performer of the Year 2007 (Leicester Square Theatre). Carl is thrilled to be working in Birmingham and being a part of such a wonderful company, and would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support.
