Asif Masud

Asif is 25 years old and comes from Small Heath.

He is a graduate in Drama and Performance and currently works within mainstream secondary and special needs education.

He was on The REP’s Transmissions programme in 2003. An extract of his work was read as part of the Contact Theatre’s ‘Flip The Script’ – a BBC supported programme showcasing new and emerging talent in 2006, and was recently on The Royal Court’s Critical Mass programme in association with the Belgrade Theatre Coventry and the Drum Arts Centre Birmingham.

Asif is excited to be working with The REP once again and is eager to develop and share ideas with other writers on Grass Routes and to receive feedback that will take his writing to the next level.
