Transmissions

The REP’s programme for young writers, Transmissions, offers young people the chance to work with professional playwrights, improve their writing skills and develop ideas. Transmissions includes an outreach programme in schools across the Midlands, whereby professional playwrights work in partnership with teachers to deliver the Transmissions programme to secondary school pupils.

We have also developed a scheme of work which allows teachers to deliver the programme independently as part of the National Curriculum. If you are a teacher and would like to know more about Transmissions in Schools, please contact Caroline Jester on 0121 245 2000.
